Exhibition : Laura Barton: Continuum

Artist Laura Barton's exhibition Continuum is a conceptual exhibit of where she's been, where she is now and where she's heading.

Barton says "I was born into creating. From a very early age, my mother enticed me to create things from all sorts of objects. I have chosen painting in oil as my preferred media. Painting excites me! And since I love being outside, I primarily paint on location. I also feel like I'm painting against the clock. Open Space is getting eaten up by shopping centers and housing developments. In my work I hope to bring an awareness to the real beauty that is around us, and perhaps urge the viewer to appreciate and help preserve it. "
